Key Facts for Singapore Drone Operators

Since February 2025, CAAS removed the cap on the number of UA above 250g that each individual or company can register. Commercial operators with permits may now fly up to 400 feet AMSL on all days of the week in designated areas. The Broadcast Remote Identification (B-RID) requirement took effect on 1 December 2025, mandating all UA above 250g to carry a compliant B-RID module when operating outdoors.

Operators can obtain real-time airspace clearance through the CFMS FlyItSafe mobile application without making phone calls to CAAS or RSAF, streamlining operations in pre-cleared zones.
